You can truly make your vacation to Southern Utah a secluded getaway by booking your accommodations with the Grant Gulch House, which lies only seven miles from Zion National Park, the region's top tourist destination. Located off the beaten path just west the town of Rockville, Grand Gulch has all of the amenities you would expect from your lodging provider. Our two-bedroom, two-bath vacation home features a hot tub, satellite TV, a full, modern kitchen, a large patio and a washer/dryer. Our best amenities, however, are the spectacular views of Zion from the house and the serene solitude our guests feel from being away from the crowds. Comfortably sleeping six people, the master bedroom boasts a king-size bed while the living room features a queen size sofa bed and the second bedroom contains two twin beds.

Named for a Hebrew word meaning "place of refuge" or "sanctuary," Zion National Park's 229 square miles contain everything from high, forested plateaus to low canyon floors dwarfed by enormous, colorful sandstone monoliths. The park is home to one of the largest-spanning natural arches in the world (Kolob Arch) and a narrow, deep gorge where hikers can nearly touch each side of the canyon walls with outstretched arms (The Zion Narrows). Zion is the most ecologically diverse region in Utah. In addition to its natural wonders, the park also exhibits an engineering marvel. Connecting the park to points east, the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway's switchbacks and mile-long tunnel, testify to the hard work and ingenuity Americans exhibited during The Great Depression. Another aspect of Zion that makes it unique is its mandatory shuttle, the only one of its kind in a national park located in the contiguous United States. From April to October, the shuttle is the only way visitors may enter Zion Canyon, the most popular part of the park. The park's entrance is only seven miles from Grant Gulch - a superb choice when deciding between your accommodations options.
