Are you tired of the conventional accommodations hotels and motels provide? If so, look no further than the Grant Gulch House, located off the beaten path but only 10 minutes away from the south entrance of Zion National Park. An exquisite two-bedroom vacation home, Grant Gulch can comfortably accommodate six people. It offers first-class amenities, including a hot tub, a portable barbecue, a washer/dryer, a large patio, a fireplace, and even a telescope! The master bedroom boasts a California king bed while the second bedroom features two single beds. The house's 20-foot span of sliding glass doors and floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic vistas of Zion's unparalleled scenery to the north and east.

Utah's most visited national park, Zion is a spectacle of deep, narrow canyons and towering sandstone monoliths. The park offers activities for all ages and ability levels, from leisurely strolls along the Virgin River to horseback riding to rock climbing. Its hiking trails run the gamut from extremely easy, including the Gateway to the Narrows and Lower Emerald Pools, to tremendously challenging, such as Angels Landing, which is not for anyone fearful of heights. For the casual sightseer, a ride on the park's mandatory shuttle up the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive can be just as awe inspiring as a hike. The ride treats passengers to stunning views of some of the park's signature landmarks, including the Watchman, the Court of the Patriarchs and The Great White Throne, while listening to narration by the shuttle drivers. Only seven miles from the park and away from the tourist crowds, Grant Gulch is an ideal choice for your accommodations while visiting Zion.

Grant Gulch's location just west of Rockville makes its guests feel like they are truly "getting away from it all" by leaving the hustle and bustle behind. After a full day of sightseeing in Zion, Grant Gulch guests can relax on the patio or in the hot tub, watch television on the house's satellite TV, enjoy a close look at the night sky, or take a stroll to the nearby ghost town of Grafton, which is only a half mile away. Used as a backdrop for the movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," Grafton contains two restored buildings and remnants of a few others. Its interesting cemetery inters the remains of early settlers killed by Indians. If you would like a night on the town, Springdale, Zion's gateway community, is only four miles away and features numerous eateries, pubs, gift shops and art galleries, some of which are open late.
