Zion National Park
Located 10 miles from Zion Canyon, lodging at the Grant Gulch House will put you away from the crowds in Springdale, Zion National Park's gateway community, and afford you the solitude you seek while on vacation. A two-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation home just west of the town of Rockville, Grant Gulch offers amenities you would expect from a fine lodging establishment. It can comfortably accommodate six people on a California king bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. It boasts satellite TV, a hot tub, a large patio, a washer/dryer, a portable barbecue and a fireplace. The home's floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors provide its guests magnificent views of the surrounding area, including some of Zion's towering monoliths to the north and east.

Displaying huge, stunning rock formations that tower 2,000 to 3,000 feet above the canyon floor, Zion Canyon is a spectacle showing off dazzling scenery created by millions of years of erosion. A mandatory shuttle traverses the length of the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, dropping passengers off at seven stops along the way. Riding the shuttle provides visitors' first glimpse of the canyon's one-of-a-kind scenery. During the ride, shuttle drivers offer narration about the canyon's history and geology. The canyon boasts numerous trails for visitors to get a better vantage point of the canyon's wildlife, waterfalls and hanging gardens, such as Weeping Rock. One day is not enough to view all of Zion Canyon's nooks and crannies, therefore, book two to three nights worth of lodging when you make your reservation at the Grant Gulch House.
Zion National Park

Zion National Park
Zion Canyon is not the park's only area worth visiting. The whole family will enjoy driving through the mile-long tunnel along the Zion-Mt. Caramel Highway. Completed in 1930, the tunnel connects Zion to points east, including Bryce Canyon National Park, approximately 80 miles away. East Zion boasts Checkerboard Mesa and a much different landscape than the canyon's floor. The park's Kolob Canyons section, located 18 miles south of Cedar City, is a little-known gem that offers a five-mile scenic drive full of many colorful formations. The trailhead to Kolob Arch, one of the world's largest natural spans, is located in this section of the park.

If you are seeking solitude and serenity on your next vacation, lodging at the Grant Gulch House can provide it. Zion Canyon and the area's other wondrous rock formations beckon you. Call today to reserve your chance to stay in one of the area's most unique accommodations.
